No Pump In Sump Reduces Turbulence
How it works:
(A) Immersed electrical centrifugal pump is always on (good for
your coolant) in the 30 gallon barrel, so there is no chance of
running low or cavitating. Rated at 11 gpm, we throttle it down
to 4 gpm.
(B) The centrifugal pump sends a stream of clean coolant
through our Fluid Amplifier™ (patent pending), creating a vacuum
at inlet C.
(C) The vacuum generated here is what powers the skimmer in
your machine sump at a rate of 1.2 gallons per minute. This is
connected to either a Hammerhead™ or Sumpster™. The
Muscle™ II comes with each.
(D) Clean fluid combines with the dirty fluid from the skimmer
and is injected into the Muscle™ II through this elbow, at a rate of
4 gallons per minute.
(E) Once injected into the center of the coalescing cartridge the
fluid and oil must go down the central tube and then up the outer
tube through the coalescing media. The coalescing media accelerates
the oil accumulation process. The oil stays on the top of the
Muscle™ II, while the clean coolant sinks to the bottom.
(F) The clean coolant returns to the sump via gravity through this
fitting at a rate of 1 gallon per minute.
